Doug’s Heart & Biography
My name is Doug Gustafson. As a counselor and life coach, my central mission in life is to inspire men to discover and create extraordinary results in all areas of their life – and to reach their true potential for success.
I meet with men looking for individual counseling, help with sexual and chemical addiction and with their spouses in couple’s therapy. In addition, I work as a life coach and lead coaching groups for men, focusing on designing and building a more successful life.
I have been in private practice for over 35 years. I am a graduate of the University of Oregon. I did my graduate work in psychology at Biola University and Talbot Seminary and am a graduate of the Institute for Life Coach Training and have been licensed as a therapist since 1985.
In addition to private practice, I have over 15 years of experience in leadership, directing treatment programs in the field of Addiction Medicine. I have taught at the University level and have been on staff directing family ministry at a local church. I am a frequent keynote speaker at Men’s events focusing on marriage, personal growth, recovery, and building a more successful life path.
